Exams

Registration

Upon enrolment in a module, students are automatically registered for the corresponding module examination. No separate invitation to the exam will be issued. You'll find information about transcripts of records in the online course catalogue under the individual modules. Otherwise, your course lecturers will provide this information at the beginning of your course.

Deregistration

Modules may be cancelled via the student portal up to the official deregistration deadline, which is indicated in the oline course catalogue.

Deregistration after this deadline is only permitted in cases of documented, compelling reasons. Supporting documents (e.g., medical certificates) must be uploaded to the student portal no later than five days after the scheduled examination date. Otherwise, missed examinations will be recorded as failed attempts.

Results

Approximately three weeks after the examination, once grading is complete and results have been entered, students may view their results via their personal account.

Exam Review

Students who fail an examination may request to review their exam. The date for the review session is communicated by the respective module coordinator and takes place prior to the validation meeting. There is no entitlement to an individual appointment.

Failure of an examination

For core elective modules in Groups 2 and 3, no retake examinations are offered. Students who do not pass the examination of such a module on their first attempt, or who are unable to attend the examination due to illness, must re-enrol in the respective module the next time it is offered.
